Ghost pipe was used medicinally by Native Americans and is known for its ability to treat pain, both physical and emotional. Known for its sedative nature, it helps control anxiety due to trauma, panic attacks and insomnia. While it is useful in treating muscle spasms, nervousness, agitation, migraines, fevers and infections – you want to opt for other herbs first before trying this potent remedy. Ghost pipe is also known as having anticonvulsant properties and has been used to treat seizures and epilepsy.

Our alcohol extraction tincture was created using ghost pipe harvested by Holly (our founder and lead clinical herbalist) in Rhode Island. Ethically harvest from several large patches in the woods, making sure not to disturb the roots, ensuring that my ghost pipe colonies continue to be strong and healthy. This is a sacred plant, harvested on the spot and immediately added to alcohol menstrum to ensure its potency.

You may notice that this remedy is sold in smaller size tinctures – this is due to its potency and significantly smaller dosing. You must use this with caution!

Suggested dose is 1-3 drops (that’s right, only DROPS not droppers)  as needed.n Not to exceed 30 days usage at any given time.

This tincture was made with grain alcohol and contains approximately 50% alcohol.

Cautions:

May cause drowsiness. Do not take this tincture while operating machinery or driving a vehicle. Some sources cite that daily dosing of Monotropa uniflora should not exceed one month. This plant tincture is not compatible with ADHD medication, or other stimulants.

Not recommended for children due to unknown safe dosage amounts.
