Usnea, also known as Old Mans Beard is a fantastic stand-alone or add-on to other therapies such as our Hawt Commodity.

Helpful for active respiratory and sinus infections, bronchitis, pneumonia, strep throat (or sore throat in general), and of course colds and the seasonal flu (or whatever viral infection that may be going around). For fever, when accompanied by pain this is a gentle yet potent aid. It is helpful when trying to loosen and disrupt phlegm. Works well at fighting fevers especially when used alongside our Fever Tincture.

Also used for UTI’s and bladder infections, as well as being beneficial for women with yeast infections, trichomonosis, bacterial vaginosis, and chlamydia.

It can be helpful with chronic fatigue, herpes, and other chronic conditions related to depressed immunity – however the dosage needs to be customized in this instance.

Known to be antibiotic, and antiviral.

This formulation is a double extract. COOLING AND DRYING energetic properties, meaning it clears heat, removes toxicity and moves dampness. 

Ingredients: Usnea Lichen, Wild Crafted, Sustainably Sourced, 40%% Alcohol, distilled water 1:5 Extract 25% solution min

Suggested use: 1 dropper full every 3-4 hours. This tincture is meant to be used as a remedy rather than as a preventative.  Use at the onset of symptoms, especially if a cough is present. Best when taken between meals. Can be added to water or juice, however, there is a naturally sweet taste to this tincture making it quite pleasant compared to many other blends.

Safe for children, no known contraindications at this time. Discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner if you develop symptoms of liver problems. Always speak with a healthcare provider before trying any product.  If you have a liver disorder, do not use this product.
